The auto-focus locks on quickly, even in lower light, which surprised me for a used lens. I’ve been using it as my everyday walk-around lens and the lightweight body makes it easy to carry all day.

Picked this up as a backup lens and the autofocus is surprisingly snappy for a used model. The 18-55mm range handles my everyday walkaround shots perfectly, and the glass is clean with no scratches.

For a used kit lens, this thing is in surprisingly clean shape and the autofocus feels snappy. The wide-to-short-telephoto range covers 90% of what I shoot casually, and it's light enough that I forget it's in my bag until I need it.
