The sharpness across the frame is even better than I expected for such a compact lens, and the all-metal focus ring feels incredibly precise. It’s quickly become my go-to for candid street work.

I’ve been using this 28mm for street shots and the compact size is perfect for slipping into a jacket pocket. The sharpness even in the corners surprised me, given how small the lens is.

The aperture ring clicks with that reassuring precision you only get from older Leica glass, and the compact size makes it a joy to leave on the camera all day. Corner sharpness at f/5.6 genuinely surprised me for such a small lens — it’s become my default walkaround.
