The autofocus is lightning fast and dead silent, which made all the difference for catching candid moments at a dimly lit dinner party. I’m blown away by how sharp the background blur is even wide open at f/1.4.

Bought this for indoor event shooting and the f/1.4 aperture is a game changer—it lets me keep the ISO low even in dim church lighting. Focus is snappy and silent, and the bokeh is exactly the creamy blur I was hoping for.

Shot wide open at f/1.4, the bokeh is just gorgeous — exactly what I needed for portraits. It's a bit heavy for walkaround use, but the image quality is so sharp that I don't mind.
