Used Nikon HB-37 Lens Hood

Bought this used hood for my 55-200mm and it clicks right into place perfectly, just like a new one. The bayonet mount is snug and it cut out some harsh side glare I was getting before, exactly what I needed.

I was worried a used hood might be scratched up, but this one is in great shape and has already reduced glare during a sunny afternoon shoot. It locks onto the lens firmly and feels just as sturdy as a new one.

Bayonet mount clicked on perfectly with my 55-200mm, and it’s cut down the stray light ghosts I used to get shooting into low sun. For a used piece, the plastic feels solid and the flares are basically gone now.
