Finally no more fighting with a changing bag in summer heat, since this tank loads daylight-style on a table. Getting the film onto the spiral took a little practice, but the first roll came out evenly developed with perfect negatives.

The loading system is so straightforward that I developed my first roll without any wasted film—the spool clicks into place perfectly. Being able to process 35mm in full daylight felt like magic after years of fighting with changing bags.

Finally, a daylight tank that actually works—loading the film onto the reel was straightforward, and I got perfectly developed negatives the very first time. It’s so compact that I can just leave it on my desk and walk away until the timer goes off.
