The rubber is thick enough that I don't worry about them slipping off in my pack, and they seat snugly over the 50mm barrels without any fiddling. They've already taken a few knocks on rocky trails and the lenses stay clean and dry underneath.

I was tired of picking grit out of the lens rims after every trip, so these snug rubber cups are a perfect fit for my 50mm objectives. They stay put when I toss the binos in my pack, and so far they've shrugged off mud and light rain without a single mark.

Slapped these on before a rainy hike and they’ve stayed put through mud and drizzle—the fit around the 50mm barrels is snug, no slipping. They’re a bit stiff to pop off at first, but that’s what you want for solid protection in a backpack. Glad I grabbed them.
