Bought this used hood for my 85mm macro and it clicks on securely with the bayonet mount, no wobble at all. It’s lighter than I expected, which is nice for handheld shots, though the plastic finish shows scuffs from previous use. Works exactly as it should for shading the front element.

The bayonet mount clicks on solidly, no wobble at all, and it flips reverse for storage without scratching the barrel. Took it out for a macro shoot and the shade kept side-light off the front element exactly as it should. Good used condition, barely a scuff on the outer rim.

I’d been worried about lens flare on my 85mm macro, but this hood cut it out completely without blocking my flash. The bayonet mount locked on with a satisfying click, and it feels just as solid as the original.
