Opticron 43mm BGA Binocular Rainguard

This one-piece cap is lighter than I expected and stays on securely even when I’m hiking. It’s a simple plastic guard, but it keeps the lenses clean without adding much bulk.

The plastic feels sturdy enough to protect the lenses in my pack, though I wish the hinge had a bit more snap to stay fully closed. Works well for keeping dust off on dusty trails.

Snapped right onto my binoculars and fits snugly—no more worrying about rain on the lenses. Takes a bit of effort to pull off quickly when I need to spot a bird, but it does the job well enough.
