Opticron Oregon Observation 20x80 Binoculars

The 20x80 objective lenses really pull in the light for stargazing; I spotted several faint nebulae I'd never seen with my smaller binos. It took a solid tripod to handle this, but the view is absolutely worth the setup.

I was worried about the weight, but the included tripod adapter makes steady viewing surprisingly easy. The wide field of view really kept Jupiter and its moons in frame without constant adjustment.

The 20x80 objectives pull in so much light that Jupiter’s moons were crisp even with a bit of haze. For the price, the grip and focus wheel feel sturdier than I expected, and I’ve already used them for both hillside wildlife and a quick star hop.
