The fluid head makes panning across a marsh so smooth I can track a flying heron without any jerky stops. Even with my heavy telescope mounted, the legs feel rock-solid and never wobble in a breeze. A real upgrade for anyone tired of fighting their tripod.

Finally got it set up for my spotting scope, and the fluid head makes following a swooping hawk feel effortless. The locking knobs are grippy and easy to tighten even with cold fingers.
