Fujinon 16x70 FMTR-SX Binoculars

The Fujinon 16x70 FMTR-SX Polaris Binoculars deliver expansive views with remarkable light-gathering power, perfect for long-range terrestrial observation and wide-field astronomy. Featuring large, fully multicoated 70mm objectives, these binoculars maximise brightness and colour fidelity. Proprietary EBC prism coatings minimise internal light loss while enhancing colour and contrast for crystal-clear images at high 16x magnification.

Optical Performance

Equipped with BAK4 prisms and advanced anti-reflection coatings, these binoculars transmit over 95% of incoming light, ensuring bright and vivid views. The 210 ft field of view at 1000 yards and wide 64° apparent angle of view provide immersive experiences, whether birdwatching, comet hunting, or lunar observing. The 4.4mm exit pupil and 15.5mm eye relief combine to reduce eye strain and improve comfort during extended use.

Comfort & Handling

Designed for precision, the binoculars feature individually focusable eyepieces and fold-down rubber eyecups that block peripheral light. The 56 to 74mm interpupillary adjustment ensures a perfect fit for any user. For steady viewing, the binoculars include a concealed tripod mount compatible with optional adapters.

Durability & Weatherproofing

Built with a lightweight, rubber-armoured aluminium alloy chassis, these binoculars offer a secure, slip-resistant grip and MIL-SPEC shock resistance. They are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed, making them waterproof and fogproof for reliable performance in harsh environments.

Additional Features

The binoculars accept optional polarizing, nebula, haze, and neutral density filters, further enhancing versatility. Their closed-bridge design adds durability and comfort for outdoor use.
