Inspired by classic film-era Nikon cameras, this full-frame mirrorless camera combines retro design with cutting-edge technology. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or an enthusiastic hobbyist, the Zf offers exceptional image quality, intuitive controls, and limitless creative possibilities.

Design and Build

The Nikon Zf stands out with its precision-milled brass control dials and silver chrome finish, reminiscent of the legendary Nikon F. The tactile, metallic texture gives an authentic feel, while the camera’s design evolves gracefully over time, developing a unique patina that reflects your personal photography journey.

Image Quality

Equipped with a 24.5MP full-frame FX-format CMOS sensor, the Zf delivers stunningly sharp images with natural tones and low noise, even in challenging lighting conditions. Combined with advanced Nikon Z series technology, it offers remarkable speed, precision, and dynamic range, ensuring every shot meets the highest standard.

Photography Features

• Portrait Photography: Eye detection, skin softening, and portrait impression balance produce perfect headshots with beautiful background blur.

• Street Photography: Film-like colour profiles, three new monochrome modes, and black-and-white shooting provide versatility for capturing urban life.

• Low-Light Photography: Autofocus works down to -10EV, while the full-frame sensor maintains clarity at high ISO, perfect for natural-light and long-exposure shots.

Creative Tools

The Zf empowers creativity with downloadable Imaging Recipes, a future “Film Grain” feature, and multiple Picture Control settings. Whether you’re experimenting with monochrome, flat, or rich-tone styles, the camera adapts to your personal aesthetic.

Autofocus and Stability

With a hybrid phase-detection and contrast AF system featuring 273 focus points, the Zf tracks subjects with precision, even in manual focus. Enhanced 5-axis in-body VR ensures sharp results for handheld shots and moving subjects, while Pixel Shift mode captures jaw-dropping detail.

Video Capabilities

Shoot in 4K UHD at up to 60p or 1080p at 120p, with H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC compression. The Zf supports N-Log, HDR (HLG), electronic vibration reduction, and time-lapse recording, giving videographers professional-level tools for cinematic results.
