The TTArtisan Light Meter II in black is a compact, lightweight accessory designed for photographers and videographers who demand portability and precision. Weighing just 34 grams, it mounts easily onto a camera shoe and provides accurate ambient light and flash exposure readings in a range of lighting conditions. Built with durable aircraft aluminium, it combines robust construction with everyday practicality.

Intuitive Operation

Designed for ease of use, the Light Meter II features an intuitive interface with two adjustment dials and an exposure indicator light. These controls function in a way that mirrors the manual mode on a camera, making it simple to dial in the correct settings quickly and accurately.

Improved Accuracy

One of the key upgrades in this second-generation model is its expanded shutter speed range - now offering 23 stops, compared to the 12 stops available on the original version. This means more precise exposure control, particularly in complex lighting environments.

Secure Clicked Dials

The inclusion of clicked aperture dials helps prevent accidental changes to your settings, ensuring greater consistency during use.

Enhanced Metering Design

The 45° average metering angle and convex lens with a stepped light inlet are engineered to gather light effectively while minimising reflection.

Smart Power Saving

To enhance efficiency, the TTArtisan Light Meter II includes a double power-saving feature. The indicator light switches off after 10 seconds of inactivity, while the entire device enters sleep mode after 60 seconds. Both can be reactivated instantly with a touch of the dials or the metering button.

Long Battery Life

Powered by a CR1632 battery, the meter provides approximately 60 hours of usage time.

Miles ★★★★★

I've been using this meter for street photography and it reads accurately even in tricky mixed lighting. The 34-gram weight makes it disappear on my camera strap, and the dial feels satisfyingly clicky to adjust.

Amelia ★★★★★

This tiny meter is so easy to slip into a shirt pocket that I barely notice it’s there until I need it—the 34-gram weight makes a real difference during a day of shooting. Took a few test shots to dial in the learning curve, but now I’m getting spot-on exposures every time.

Owen G. ★★★★★

Finally, a meter that doesn't weigh down my neck strap—34 grams is barely noticeable. The compact size slips into a shirt pocket easily, though the dial is a bit stiff to turn at first.
