Urth Leica M to Leica L Lens Mount Adapter

The Urth Leica M to Leica L Lens Mount Adapter allows photographers to use Leica M-mount lenses on Leica L-mount cameras, opening up the extensive range of compact and characterful M-mount optics to compatible L-mount mirrorless systems. With no optical elements in the adapter, your lenses retain their original optical characteristics while you maintain manual control over focusing and aperture.

Designed for photographers who want to combine the distinctive rendering of Leica M lenses with the flexibility of a Leica L-mount camera, the Urth adapter provides a precise and secure connection between the two systems. Infinity focus is supported, making the adapter suitable for everything from close-up work to landscape and general photography.

Precision-Machined Construction

The adapter is manufactured from 6061 aluminium, chosen for its durability and resistance to warping. Precision-machined threads provide an accurate fit between the Leica M lens and L-mount camera, helping to maintain correct alignment when shooting.

The interior features an anti-reflective matte black finish, helping to minimise unwanted internal reflections. As there are no optical elements within the adapter, it does not introduce additional glass or alter the optical path of your Leica M lens.

Manual Control

The Urth Leica M to Leica L adapter is a fully manual lens adapter. Autofocus and electronic communication between the lens and camera are not supported, so focusing and aperture settings are controlled directly through the attached Leica M lens.

This makes it particularly well suited to photographers who enjoy the tactile experience of manual-focus lenses and want to explore the character of Leica M optics on an L-mount camera.

Compatible Cameras and Lenses

The adapter is designed for:

• Leica M-mount lenses
• Leica L-mount cameras

It provides a simple way to use compatible Leica M lenses on L-mount cameras while retaining their optical characteristics and manual operation.
