Used Canon Remote Switch Adapter T3

My first roll of night shots came out tack sharp—the mechanical trigger locks the shutter release without any vibration creeping into the image. It's a bit clunky compared to modern electronic remotes, but for a vintage adapter it does exactly what it should.

Using this for long exposures on my AE-1 has made a noticeable difference in sharpness. The cord is just long enough to step back from the camera, and the mechanical click is satisfyingly positive.

The mechanical trigger feels solid and old-school in the best way, and it screws into the shutter button with a satisfying click. It’s a perfect little workhorse for long exposures on my film body—I can finally stop jabbing the shutter and introducing shake.
