Finally, a lens hood that actually fits securely without wobbling—the locking mechanism is firm and reassuring. It cuts down stray light noticeably, making my ultrawide shots look much more contrasty even in harsh sun. Definitely worth it for protecting that expensive front element, too.

Bought this hood to cut flare from my new wide-angle, and already it’s made a noticeable difference in contrast on a sunny day. The matte interior feels well-made and the bayonet mount is reassuringly tight.

The bayonet mount clicks on with zero wobble, and it’s so light I forget it’s even attached until I notice the lens flare is completely gone. Shots into direct sun are crisp now, which was the main reason I grabbed it.
