The anti-Newton surface is doing exactly what it should—my medium format negs are finally flat and free of those annoying rainbow rings when I focus. They slide into the carrier without any fuss, which is more than I can say for other glass inserts I've wrestled with.

Fit them into the K4583 carrier and my scans came out tack-sharp, not a single Newton ring in sight. The glass sits perfectly flat, which makes loading the negatives a lot less fiddly than I expected.
