Mounting this extension arm instantly solved the gap I had when shooting larger artwork on my copy stand. The metal feels solid and the extra distance it adds makes centering big negatives much easier.

I was a bit skeptical about adding another piece to the setup, but the extra distance between the mount and the camera arm solves my large-original framing issue completely. Setup took two minutes and it locks solidly, so no wobble during long exposures.
