Kaiser Rodenstock Rodagon 50mm f2.8 放大鏡頭

Switching from a 50mm f/2.8 Nikkor, the color rendition with this Rodenstock is noticeably more neutral right out of the box. The glass is incredibly clean, and I’ve already seen sharper edges on my 8x10 prints than I ever did with my old lens.

The f/2.8 aperture makes focusing on the grain a breeze, even in a dimly lit darkroom. Printed a 12x18 from a 35mm negative and the sharpness held up beautifully across the whole frame, both in black and white and color.

Switching from a 35mm to this 50mm f/2.8 lens made a noticeable difference in sharpness across the whole frame. The crisp detail it pulls from my black and white negatives is exactly what I was hoping for.
