The extra magnification on my APO-Televid 82mm is fantastic for picking out feather detail at long range, and the image stays bright and sharp even at the higher end of the zoom.

This extender locks onto the scope smoothly and instantly doubles the reach for viewing distant birds, though it adds noticeable weight to the setup. I was surprised how well it maintains clarity even at the maximum zoom range.

Finally got a clear look at a distant peregrine falcon's markings, and this extender made it possible without losing image quality. The 1.8x magnification boost really brings the 25-50x eyepiece into a whole new range, and the build feels just as solid as the scope itself.
