Opticron Explorer WA ED-R 8x32 單眼望遠鏡

I took this on a hike yesterday and the wide field of view made it so easy to track birds in flight. The extra light transmission from the multi-coatings really helped in the dim morning light.

I was worried about the weight since I need it for backpacking, but this monocular is surprisingly light and the wide field makes scanning treelines effortless. The multi-coatings seem to pull in more light than my older model, even at dusk.

I was genuinely surprised at how bright and crisp the image is in this little monocular, even in low evening light. The wide field of view makes it easy to scan treelines quickly without losing target. It easily fits in my jacket pocket too, which is exactly what I needed for hiking.
