Ulanzi VL49 Mini LED Video Light

The magnetic mount is a lifesaver for quick setups, and the light itself is bright enough to illuminate a whole tabletop scene without overheating. For run-and-gun shooting, it's the perfect size to clip onto a camera cage without adding bulk.

The CRI 95+ rating really shows—skin tones look completely natural under this light, not washed out or greenish. It’s tiny enough to toss in my bag but still bright enough for close-up interview shots.

I've been using it to light my talking-head videos, and the CRI 95+ rating really shows—skin tones look natural instead of that harsh, greenish cast. The magnetic backplate makes it ridiculously easy to stick on metal surfaces around my desk.
