Urth Sony FE 24/40/50mm G 鏡頭遮光罩 - 銀色

I was worried the silver might look too flashy, but it perfectly complements my 40mm G lens and screws on smoothly. The shade is deep enough to block side light without showing in the frame, which I tested on a sunny afternoon.

I was pleasantly surprised by how snugly it fits the 40mm—no wobble at all. The bayonet mount clicks into place with a satisfying feel, making it easy to swap in the field. Cut down on lens flare noticeably during a harsh midday shoot.

Snapped it on before a golden-hour shoot and the difference in contrast is immediate, even with the sun nearly in the frame. The metal build feels solid and clicks into place perfectly on my 40mm G, and the silver finish matches the lens barrel exactly.
