I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the focus ring feels—it’s much more responsive than I expected for a used lens. The bokeh in my first few portraits came out soft and creamy, making it perfect for isolating subjects.

The glass on this 150mm is incredibly clean for a used lens, and the focus ring turns with just the right amount of dampened resistance. I shot a few test portraits yesterday and the bokeh at F3.5 is exactly that smooth, creamy separation I was hoping for.

Finally pulled the trigger on a used one for portraits and the bokeh is exactly what I hoped for on 6x6. The F3.5 aperture makes focusing a breeze even in dim light, and the glass is still spotless after all these years. It's become my go-to for headshots without a second thought.
