Used Surui K-30X Ball Head

I was worried about getting a used ball head, but this one feels almost new. The tension control for panoramic shots is buttery smooth, and the dials all turn without any stiffness.

It locks down my heavy telephoto lens with no creep, even when I lean into the shot. The 360-degree panning base is smooth and precise, making panoramas effortless.

Even as a used unit, the clamp mechanism feels reassuringly solid with a very positive lock. Mounted my 70-200mm lens and it holds without any creep whatsoever. Exactly what I needed for stable landscape shots.
