Ryan G. ★★★★★

I was worried buying used, but the autofocus on this lens is lightning fast and silent—definitely worth it for the price. The constant f/2.8 aperture gives me consistent exposure in different lighting, which is a lifesaver for events.

Thomas ★★★★★

I shoot a lot in low light at events, and having that constant f/2.8 aperture across the whole zoom range is a lifesaver for keeping shutter speeds up. The focus ring has nice damping too, makes manual tweaks feel smooth and precise. Only used it for a few weddings so far but the image sharpness alr

Robert P. ★★★★★

The VC actually lets me shoot handheld at 1/15th of a second—huge for weddings. Tack sharp even wide open at F2.8, and the zoom ring has a nice, damped feel.
