Nikon HB-101 Lens Hood

I was skeptical about needing this lens hood, but it’s cut down on lens flare noticeably during bright outdoor shoots. The bayonet mount clicks into place with a satisfying snap, and the build feels solid enough for daily use.

I love how this hood cuts out side light on my Z 18-140mm; my landscapes look noticeably punchier with no flare. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy at all. Perfect fit for the bayonet mount, too.

Bayonet mount snaps on tight with zero wobble, and the shallow profile means I don't have to flip it around to fit the bag. Flare control on sunny hikes is noticeably better, especially when shooting into the light at the 18mm end. Just what I needed for the 18-140mm.
