Used Nikon Z 40mm F2 Lens

The f/2 aperture gives such creamy background blur for portraits, and the whole thing barely weighs anything on my camera. For a used lens, the glass is pristine and the autofocus is snappy.

I was pleasantly surprised by how sharp the f/2 aperture is even wide open, making my portraits pop with that creamy background blur. The lens feels solid despite its lightweight build, and it’s become my go-to for everyday shooting.

The compact size makes it perfect for slipping into my everyday bag, and the f/2 aperture gives portraits that creamy background separation I was hoping for. Handles low light better than I expected from such a small lens.
