Whether you're capturing dynamic street scenes or cinematic vlogs, this lens offers a powerful balance of performance and portability in a form factor perfectly matched to Sony’s lightweight mirrorless bodies.

Expressive Imagery Across the Zoom Range

Covering an effective focal length of approximately 25.5-60mm, this lens spans classic wide to moderate telephoto perspectives, ideal for diverse genres including travel, portraiture, and lifestyle work. The fast F1.8 aperture is especially beneficial for low-light indoor shoots and achieving natural bokeh, mimicking the depth of field control typically reserved for prime lenses.

Seamless Autofocus for Solo Creators

Driven by the advanced HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), autofocus is both swift and silent—crucial for creators recording with microphones or operating solo. The internal zoom and minimal focus breathing make it a favourite for video production, whether you're handheld, mounted, or working with motorized rigs.

Built to Keep Up with You

The lens's compact profile and 67mm filter thread make it easy to integrate with everyday accessories and setups. Enhanced resistance to dust and splashes ensures peace of mind in variable weather, while dual AFL buttons enhance ergonomics for both landscape and portrait orientations.
