Kowa 10x50 SV II Binocular

Got these for a long coastal hike and was shocked how steady they feel at 10x50 given the weight. The fully multi-coated lenses pull in so much light that even late afternoon birding stayed crisp. No eye strain after an hour of scanning, which I can't say for my old pair.

Picking up the moon through these for the first time was a shock — the crater detail is crisp and steady, even at 10x magnification. The fully multi-coated lenses really do make a difference in low light, giving me clear views well past sunset.

I was worried about the weight, but even at 10x50 they’re surprisingly easy to hold steady for long periods. The fully multi-coated lenses really make a difference—colors pop in low evening light, and there’s hardly any glare.
