Opticron Oregon Observation 11x70 Binoculars

I've been scanning distant mountains and the moon with these 11x70s, and the image stays crisp right to the edge. The large objective lenses gather so much light that even faint stars in the Pleiades are easy to pick out.

Finally got these out under a dark sky and the 11x70s pull in so much light that even the Milky Way looked textured and deep. The focus wheel is hefty but smooth, and at this price I honestly wasn't expecting such crisp star points.

These are heavy, no joke, but the tripod adapter thread makes them stable on any photo tripod I own. The 11x magnification really pulls in faraway birds and the moon's craters are stunningly sharp.
