It cuts down the glare from the sun perfectly, even when I'm shooting wide open. The bayonet mount clicks on tight and feels much more solid than the plastic ones I've tried before.

The bayonet mount snaps on with a satisfying click and locks tight, no wobble at all. Since attaching it, I’ve shot right into the sun a few times and the flare reduction is noticeable, plus the extra depth gives me peace of mind about the front glass.

Finally, no more washed-out shots when shooting into the sun — this hood clicks on snugly and cuts the flare dramatically. Really glad I finally grabbed one for my kit.
