Nikon HB-118 Lens Hood

Snapped right onto the 16-50mm with a satisfying click, and now I don't worry about scratching the front element when I set the camera down. Exactly what I needed for peace of mind.

I was worried the hood might feel flimsy, but it’s sturdy plastic that screws on tight—instantly gives me peace of mind when I’m shooting outdoors. Protects the front element perfectly from bumps without adding much bulk.

Bayonet mount clicks on in a second and the lens cap snaps back without any fuss. It’s slim enough that I forget it’s there, but it’s already saved my front element from a nasty scrape on a doorframe.
