The petal shape of this hood fits the zoom perfectly and has cut out almost all the glare I was getting in my outdoor shots. It snaps on securely without any wobble.

The bayonet mount clicks in with a satisfying snap, and it feels solid enough that I don’t worry about it popping off in my bag. Flare reduction is noticeable on backlit shots with the 18-135mm, exactly what I needed for outdoor portraits.
